THE END OF THE LORD

The Christian must trust in a withdrawing God. --William Gurnall

Job 23:8 "Look, I go forward, but He is not there, And backward, but I cannot perceive Him; 9 When He works on the left hand, I cannot behold Him; When He turns to the right hand, I cannot see Him. 10 But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

To me one of the greatest heroes of the Scripture was this man named Job. He endured a level of suffering that’s beyond what most will face in life. Job encourages us who are many, many generations past him in history.

I went through one of the most difficult seasons in my life, a few Winters ago.. I felt as though I would emotionally come unglued. I kind of tasted what Job said and I paraphrase, "God, just where in the world are you?"  Yet, I was held up by the Lord's almighty hand! Jesus walked me through it and now I enjoy a great level of confidence in the Lord.

1Cor. 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

But God is faithful!  But God is faithful!  But God is faithful!  But God is faithful!

Beloved reader! Believe God! Ps. 125:1 Those who trust in the LORD Are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
No matter how long your suffering and anguish has taken place, God will breakthrough for all who believe Him! There are some horribly long dark nights in our Christian walk, but joy comes in the morning. God will make a way for you to bear it. Lean hard on Jesus!

James 5:11 Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord (THE END OF THE LORD - KJV) —that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

After Job was tried, God paid him back two times over all his loss! God will come through for you!

Job 13:15 Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him...

Do you trust Him?  Why don’t you go to the nearest mirror, and look yourself right in the eyes and say, “God has got this and He has also got me! IT ‘S ALL GOOD IN JESUS NAME! “ HALLELUJAH!

Every blessing!

Tom
