THE INCOMPREHENSIBLE LOVE OF CHRIST
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell
It goes beyond the highest star
And reaches to the lowest hell
INDESCRIBABLE LOVE

Than tongue or pen can ever tell
It has been now over 44 years since I have surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. I can take you to the exact spot where I came back to Him after seven horrible years of living life without Him! It stands out in my mind that much! Sitting in my friends car at 4AM and listening to my hurting friend, who told me that he did not believe it was possible that God still loved him. I said, “That is the most ridiculous thing that I have ever heard anyone say!” I went on to say, “Junior, I know that God loves you!” I had no sooner spoken those words when I heard the voice of Jesus say, “Tom, I love you too! Come back to me!” The warmth of His presence flooded my heart and my eyes were flooded with tears! Junior asked me if I was alright. I was absolutely speechless for about 5 minutes. When I could finally speak, I told I had to go home and that I could not explain, but I would when I saw him again, and that I would never be the same!
INCONCEIVABLE LOVE
Eph 3:19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
It goes beyond the highest star
The verse above has really been my life verse for many years. The reason is that it speaks of the love of Christ as immeasurable, unfathomable, incomprehensible, inconceivable! The love of Christ cannot be measured! This same love found me and reached out to me when I was at my farthest from Jesus and at my very worst! This same love embraced me in my darkest hour, met my needs when I have faced incredible impossibilities, calm my fears, healed my body, comforted me in my sorrows and losses. This same love has never stopped blowing my mind all of these years!
INEXTINGUISHABLE LOVE
Jer 31:3 The LORD has appeared of old to me, [saying]: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
And reaches to the lowest hell
Like my friend Junior, I absolutely believed that I had gone wrong for far too long to ever be loved or forgiven! I just couldn't accept a God that would show mercy to a wicked and sinful man like me! When I heard that voice inside my chest (I had not heard it since my childhood) saying that He still loved and wanted me to be with Him, I was astonished beyond belief. It was too good to be true. I was overjoyed to discover that it is true! Jesus loves us with an everlasting, never-ending love. His love came to my rescue in my lowest hell! His lovingkindness has been drawing me everyday since that day, and to this very day! God wants you and I to know by experience, a love that passes our comprehension, and that will never end, in order that He may fill us with all of the fullness of God!
